The Staff

Ellie Bocchino, Program Manager: 

Ellie Bocchino started out at Friends, Inc. in 1998 as a volunteer tutor from Canisius College working with children in a K-8 after school program.  She found it so rewarding that she went well beyond the required service hours of her project, and by 2000 was hired to run Friends, Inc.'s Prime Time program, which was a program designed for teens during the after school hours of 3pm to 9pm.  In 2002 she graduated from Canisius College with a degree in Special Education. In 2003, with the beginning of the SES program, she received her current position of Program Manager.
